I'm a 33-year-old, award-winning screenwriter/producer/film director based in the Los Angeles area. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and have worked the last few years as a writer and graphic designer for various newspapers and magazines.

I enjoy photography as an extension of filmmaking, since many of the same rules apply (lighting, composition, exposure, working with talent). However, unlike filmmaking, photoshoots can be fun simply on a one-on-one basis, without a crew hovering over your shoulder. It's fun finding that right angle, or the one shot out of a hundred that will catch people's eye.
